The last couple months Hannah and Zoe were trying to convince her Julie changed. Brenda was aware Julie was spending time with her group of friends. Julie made a point to ask Brenda over to her house twice. Because Julie had once belonged to the Snob Club, and there were kids outside of this group who teased her; Brenda was reluctant to give Julie a chance.<br \/>\nPamela in her snarky tone stated, \u201cLook it\u2019s traitor.\u201d<br \/>\nJulie was blunt, \u201cY\u2019all ain\u2019t real friends.\u201d<br \/>\nThey all glared at Julie.<br \/>\nTiffany answered, \u201cI made the mistake of feeling Y\u2019all were my friend.\u201d<br \/>\nKendall added, \u201cY\u2019all are just a kill joy.\u201d<br \/>\nJulie answered, \u201cIf Y\u2019all weren\u2019t so childish I would still be hanging out with Y\u2019all.\u201d<br \/>\nPamela gave a face, \u201cIf Y\u2019all were smart you\u2019d hang out with us anyway.\u201d<br \/>\nJulie stepped up to Pamela, \u201cBrenda is a much better friend than any of Y\u2019all are.\u201d<br \/>\nBrenda stood there shocked&#8230;<br \/>\n<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: Georgia;\"><span style=\"color: black; font-size: Medium;\">&#8230;She spotted Mr. Bob open the main glass door and step into their office area.<br \/>\nHe approached her desk, \u201cBrittany.\u201d<br \/>\n\u201cYes Sir.\u201d<br \/>\n\u201cI want you to attend the meeting we\u2019re having with Criti-Medical.\u201d<br \/>\nShe was surprised at this.<br \/>\n\u201cSir I ain\u2019t dressed for a business meeting.\u201d<br \/>\nBob smiled, \u201cYour constantly one of the most professionally dressed women in this company.\u201d<br \/>\nThis meant a great deal to her. She shopped at: thrift stores, department stores, and clearance racks. Many of the ladies associated with the executive offices were shopping at higher end department stores. She was paid well but she was trying to save up money for a house or condo and felt it would be irresponsible to spend a lot of money on clothes.<br \/>\nAshleigh, who was sitting at her desk, was paying attention to their conversation without making it obvious.<br \/>\n\u201cThank-you sir.\u201d<br \/>\n\u201cI\u2019d like you to write down everything you feel.\u201d<br \/>\nShe gave him a look, \u201cWhat are Y\u2019all meaning?\u201d<br \/>\n\u201cJust what I said. I want you to write down everything you feel.\u201d<br \/>\n\u201cIs this a business meeting?\u201d<br \/>\nHe smiled, \u201cYes it is.\u201d<br \/>\nShe made a face, \u201cAre Y\u2019all wanting me to write down what people are saying?\u201d<br \/>\n\u201cIf that is what you want.\u201d<br \/>\nShe gave him a face.<br \/>\nBob tried clarifying, \u201cI don\u2019t care what you write. Just write down everything you feel is important.\u201d<br \/>\nAshleigh turned and said, \u201cSo. If you don\u2019t like the CEO write it down. If you like or don\u2019t like how we\u2019re doing something write it down.\u201d<br \/>\nBob added, \u201cI don\u2019t want any ass kissing.\u201d<br \/>\nBrittany made a face, \u201cSir. Why do Y\u2019all swear?\u201d<br \/>\nHe pushed up his glasses, \u201cAss isn\u2019t a swear.\u201d<br \/>\nAshleigh rolled here eyes.<br \/>\n\u201cMy Momma declares it is.\u201d<br \/>\n\u201cGod used it in the Bible.\u201d<br \/>\nBrittany glared at him, \u201cI don\u2019t believe Y\u2019all are using the word in the same context.\u201d<br \/>\nHe smiled.<br \/>\nAshleigh liked the fact Brittany could stand up for herself and was willing to challenge her Brother&#8230;<br \/>\n<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: Georgia;\"><span style=\"color: black; font-size: Medium;\">&#8230;The CEO pointed, \u201cYou lied to us.\u201d<br \/>\nThis irritated Ashleigh a great deal.<br \/>\nBob looked at him and answered, \u201cI never lied to Mr. Clark. I barely discussed anything with you. You had one conversation with me. A conversation that aroused my suspicions.\u201d<br \/>\nOne of the two Vice Presidents spoke up, \u201cI was led to believe you were just investing in our company and would allow us to run the company.\u201d<br \/>\nBrittany was quickly writing down on how upset the board members were anytime Mr. McBumble or his staff said anything.<br \/>\nAshleigh was one hundred percent shocked anyone would believe this nonsense.<br \/>\nBob calmly answered, \u201cI never agreed to anything. The only thing I promised was to look into your affairs.\u201d<br \/>\nMr. Mike McBumble advanced his assumption, \u201cI told you I was looking for investors.\u201d<br \/>\nBob pushed up his glasses and leaned on the table, \u201cI never discussed with you what I was intending. Let\u2019s not forget Mr. Clark approached me about the affairs of the company. He asked for my input. In the one conversation we engaged in you kept mentioning financing. You were all about making Criti-Medical bigger and better. You were all about increasing sales. This is when I made the assessment you lost focus of the original intent of Criti-Medical.\u201d<br \/>\nMr. Mike McBumble stated, \u201cWhy would an increase in sales cause there to be a lack of focus? Isn\u2019t that the goal?\u201d<br \/>\nAshleigh was looking forward to her brother\u2019s answer; along with everyone on her side of the table&#8230;<br \/>\n<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: Georgia;\"><span style=\"color: black; font-size: Medium;\">&#8230;An annoyed Mr. Mike McBumble stood up and pounded his finger on the table and proclaimed, \u201cI\u2019ve been a highly successful CEO.\u201d<br \/>\nBob answered with a matter of fact tone \u201cSuccessful is hardly the term I\u2019d use.\u201d<br \/>\nEveryone glared at Bob\u2019s bluntness.<br \/>\nMcBumble responded, \u201cSince I\u2019ve been the CEO. I\u2019ve increased our profits, increased sales, and expanded our name. I\u2019m making this company bigger and bolder. Our name is widely known in the industry. This\u2026\u201d<br \/>\nBob interrupted, \u201cIf profits were the only standard maybe someone could make this illogical claim the company has been highly successful. But if an investor or a person involved is to believe highly successful means being the best and being the top. Then any logical person would have to disagree with your assessment. My team believes you\u2019ve over extended the company, made promises you can\u2019t keep, and never improving your product. While managing to treat employees poorly. Your biggest mistake was going public.\u201d<br \/>\nMr. Mike McBumble stated, \u201cGoing public has improved this company. It\u2019s the reason the company has made profits and is now a winning company.\u201d<br \/>\nBob answered, \u201cIf you believe second place and lying to yourself is winning.\u201d&#8230;<br \/>\n<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: Georgia;\"><span style=\"color: black; font-size: Medium;\">&#8230;Ashleigh could tell the Vice President, a guy she mistrusted more than the CEO, would do everything possible to keep everything the way it was.<br \/>\nAshleigh spotted a moment of doubt. She held in her excitement. She prayed her brother would not sign the paperwork in front of him. The board wanted out from this nightmare and hoped he would sign it&#8230;<br \/>\n<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: Georgia;\"><span style=\"color: black; font-size: Medium;\">&#8230;Glancing at the clock she had an hour before her last class. After she would pick up Little Bobby from the schools day care center and go home.<br \/>\nTodd, a father she knew from the schools day care center stepped away from his friends and approached her table. He was the center of gossip with all the single ladies associated with the day care center. Shelly admired him from a distance. He was a single dad who had custody of his daughter. Everyone believed his daughter was well behaved and cute. He was a man\u2019s man. He worked part time as a mechanic but was attending tech college to become a certified electrician.
