\n\tAshleigh looked up and in a serious tone answered, \u201cIf you could shower and get ready. I need to get going.\u201d
\n\t\u201cYes Ma\u2019am.\u201d
\n\tAshleigh spotting Julie\u2019s disappointed body language, \u201cWe\u2019ll talk on the way. I really need to get to work.\u201d
\n\t\u201cYes Ma\u2019am.\u201d…

\n…Julie was unsure of how to ask the follow up question. She was grateful Ashleigh explained.
\n\t\u201cThere was no way Bob ever allowed anyone the opportunity to hurt me.\u201d
\n\tIn a very serious tone Ashleigh stated, \u201cThe bouncers would have killed anyone who touched me.\u201d
\n\tThis made Julie smile. Julie correctly assumed Ashleigh was flirty all her life. She imagined Ashleigh as a young girl melting the hearts of the toughest of men.
\n\tShe asked, \u201cBouncers of the club? Or the bodyguards of the musicians?\u201d
\n\tAshleigh stopped and looked up at her, \u201cI never thought about that.\u201d
\n\tJulie smiled.
\n\t\u201cMost likely both.\u201d
\n\tAshleigh smiled, \u201cThinking about it. I believe some of the musicians I met would have kicked someone\u2019s ass too.\u201d
\n\tJulie asked, \u201cLike who?\u201d
\n\tAshleigh touched Julie, \u201cYou know I never name names. It would have most likely have been any number of the country singers. Like you guys say down here. They would have Defended my honor.\u201d
\n\tJulie respected this, \u201cYes Ma\u2019am.\u201d
\n\t\u201cMusicians from all types of music were good to me.\u201d
\n\tShe became serious, \u201cThere were others I just knew to stay away from. I have to say. Looking back on it. The wives and girlfriends who were on tour seemed to mother me.\u201d…

\n…Ashleigh on purpose changed subjects, \u201cYour Mom confirmed you\u2019ll be getting your drivers license over the summer.\u201d
\n\t\u201cFirst I\u2019ll need to take a written test to get my permit. Here in Florida they make you keep a permit for a year. During the year I\u2019ll need to drive fifty hours of behind-the-wheel experience with ten of them being at night. After the year is when I\u2019m able take my drivers test. \u201d
\n\tAshleigh answered, \u201cThat\u2019s cool.\u201d
\n\tJulie asked, \u201cY\u2019all want to teach me how to drive manual?\u201d
\n\t\u201cI\u2019ll teach you when you get the permit.\u201d
\n\t\u201cYes Ma\u2019am.\u201d
\n\t\u201cI hope Y\u2019all will walk Nikita?\u201d
\n\tThe word walk caused Nikita to poke her nose up front.
\n\tJulie pet her, \u201cYou are such a good girl.\u201d
\n\tNikita loved the attention…

\n…Belinda mentioned, \u201cEvery pitcher has a bad game. When you went to shortstop you calmed everyone down.\u201d
\n\tMindy-Lynn added, \u201cYou made some great plays.\u201d
\n\tJulie smiled then held back tears, \u201cIt wasn\u2019t enough.\u201d
\n\tBelinda trying to be positive stated, \u201cWe have next year.\u201d
\n\tMindy-Lynn said, \u201cIf you dwell on the last game how are Y\u2019all able to play well in the next game?\u201d
\n\t\u201cIt ain\u2019t fair using my own words against me.\u201d
\n\tThe girls giggled and then became somber again.
\n\tBelinda said, \u201cI\u2019m looking forward to playing with U\u2019s next year.\u201d
\n\tMindy-Lynn glared at Julie
\n\tJulie answered, \u201cI\u2019ll be there.\u201d
\n\tThe two girls smiled.
\n\tBelinda said with determination in her voice, \u201cWe\u2019s better kick Boca Raton\u2019s ass next year.\u201d
\n\tBoth Julie and Mindy-Lynn smiled at the way she pronounced Boca Raton. It amazed the locals on how often people from the rest of the country butchered the name of this town.
\n\tThis encourage Julie, \u201cWe will. We\u2019ll win it all next year.\u201d
\n\tThis excited Mindy-Lynn, \u201cThere\u2019s the Julie we\u2019all know.\u201d
\n\tThey heard the first warning bell…
\n<\/span>
\n…For one of the few times when people spotted Ms. Ashleigh they turned and headed in the opposite direction. Ashleigh pretended she never noticed.
\n\tThis disappointed Nikita a great deal. One of the reasons she liked Work Territory is all of the people who greeted her. Nikita sensed Woman with the Funny Smells. This human: gave her treats, greeted her, gave her water, made noises at her, took her for walks, and took her out to make markings.
\n\tShe sensed a new female human near Woman with Many Smells.
\n\tWhen Ashleigh passed the long wall of the hallway and was in the open area she spotted Brittany standing alongside of the Haley\u2019s desk.
\n\tHaley briefly looked at the letter inside of an envelope, she handed it back to Brittany, and suggested, \u201cThis is customer service. Have it go to Sally.\u201d
\n\tThis is when Brittany spotted Ashleigh.
\n\tHaley followed Brittany\u2019s look.
\n\tAshleigh spotted Haley whisper something to Brittany. Brittany stood for a second. She was fascinated to see Nikita. She focused. Brittany: turned, opened the glass doors to the office, and went to her desk. Ashleigh noticed a mail cart next to Brittany\u2019s desk…
\n<\/span>
\n…Brittany felt better if she handled Ms. Ashleigh and Mr. Bob\u2019s mail. One of the reasons she felt this way was Mr. Bob being the author Mr. Heart. She would do everything in her power to make sure no one discovered Mr. Bob was Mr. Heart. She took this seriously because Mr. Bob asked her too.
\n\tShe felt people sticking posted notes on Ms. Ashleigh\u2019s monitor was a disaster waiting to happen. She was happy to collect them, type them out, and place the notes in plastic sealed bags. She wanted to stop people from putting posted notes on her monitor but she was unsure if she should or not.
\n\tShe looked up when she heard Ashleigh say, \u201cGo to your spot.\u201d
\n\tAshleigh nodded her head.
\n\tBrittany returned in kind.
\n\tNikita went running to her spot.
\n\tBrittany felt it was a very beautiful dog, a dog breed she never was in contact with before; she wondered if it was wise to have a dog like this in Florida. She understood the love an owner could have for a pet. She could tell Nikita was in great shape and was well taken care off. She worried about the heat of summer. She knew the dog could easily overheat.
\n\tShe was studying the dog.
\n\tNikita lifted her head and sniffed this human female. She sensed this human spent a lot of time with many different animals. Other animals marked her as friendly. Nikita sensed this female human cared about her. She sat up. It was difficult for Nikita to stay at her spot.
\n\tBrittany looked through the glass. She observed Haley and Ms. Ashleigh having an intense conversation. She could tell Ashleigh was paying attention to Nikita and herself.
\n\tBrittany was unable to help herself, \u201cNikita?\u201d
\n\tNikita was unsure of what she said.
\n\t\u201cCome?\u201d
\n\tThis she understood and ran over to Friendly Female. Nikita was unable to understand the noises Friendly Female were making but she felt so comfortable with her she laid on her back. She wanted this woman to pet her belly…
